Seaplane over bridge


Going to land at Sydney's first airport - Rose Bay. From 1938, seaplanes landed in Sydney Harbour on Rose Bay, making this Sydney's first international airport. It has the designation RSE.

    mr x has climbed the coathanger, but one thing i still have to cross off the bucket list is a seaplane take-off/landing on sydney harbour

  2. From the Dad's war diaries he often mentioned Rose Bay ... he was on Catalina sea planes.
