Tasmania - Getting to MONA

The Museum of Old and New Art is a great reason to visit Hobart. A private museum built and run by David Walsh who earnt his fortune in an unusual way. Easy to get to: drive and its about 20 mins along the Derwent River, a level bike ride along a well defined bike path or the best way is by this ferry terminal from Hobart Docks. The mirrored entrance to MONA and the boat arriving at the wharf.

  1. Haven't visited this yet, you make it look inviting , arriving boat is a good thing for me.

  3. Saw this being built when we were last in Tassie. It is on my list for the next time we visit the Apple Isle. Love that you can get there by boat.
