Young Railway Station

Opened in 1885 on the Blayney to Demondrille line.It is 440 rail kilometres from Sydney. It it now closed. Young Station has a size which befits its status as a major town. The yard featured a wool platform (at the Harden end), as well as a goods platform and shed at the Cowra end. Next to the station were the houses for the stationmaster, porter and level-crossing gatekeeper.
